Meet Dr. Raia

Dr. Stephen Raia is a compassionate and highly skilled general dentist for patients of all ages. From young children to our more seasoned community members, Dr. Raia is dedicated to providing exceptional care in a comfortable and welcoming environment.

He was born and raised in Vancouver, Washington. Dr. Raia completed his undergraduate degree in Biology at Brigham Young University – Idaho, where he met his wife, Haley. He went on a two year church mission living on several Indian Reservations in North and South Dakota, where he developed a love for serving the community he lived in and teaching people of Jesus Christ. After returning home and marrying Haley in 2015, he went on to earn his dental degree from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry.

Dr. Raia focuses on preventive, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry, and is known for his gentle approach and attention to detail. He is passionate about patient education and believes in empowering individuals to take charge of their oral health. Whether it’s a routine checkup, a complex procedure, or enhancing a smile with cosmetic treatments, Dr. Raia combines clinical expertise with the latest in dental technology to deliver outstanding results.

Outside the office, Dr. Raia enjoys being outdoors, hunting, fishing, golfing, and most of all, spending time with his family—his wife, Haley, and their 3 children. He is proud to serve the Lynchburg, Virginia community and is committed to making every patient feel like family.
